Tina Black

Tina Black is the proud owner of five Paul Mitchell Schools and co-owner of Paul Mitchell The Salon. She is the author of four

books and a popular speaker, coach, Mastermind leader, and certified DISC personality trainer and

consultant. She is also an executive director, certified trainer, and coach with the Maxwell Leadership

team. Tina’s schools have been recognized with facilities, leadership, culture, and other awards within

the network, and they regularly rank among the top 10 in the annual FUNraising campaign, which has

raised millions of dollars for charity since 2004. Tina firmly believes in “people before profit” and she

often says, “I’m in the business of changing lives.”

Shaun Chiodo has been a dedicated leader in the beauty industry since 2008. After graduating from Paul Mitchell The School Michigan in 2009, he joined the school’s team and quickly rose to become the Executive Director of Paul Mitchell The School Michigan, Paul Mitchell The School Great Lakes, Paul Mitchell The School Fort Myers, Paul Mitchell The School Farmington Hills and Paul Mitchell The School Sarasota. Shaun was also named Chief Operating Officer of Paul Mitchell The Salon in Clinton Township, Michigan, in 2015.

In addition to his work with Paul Mitchell Schools, Shaun is a John Maxwell Certified Coach and serves on the Business and Education Committee of the Blue Water Chamber of Commerce. He is the national leader of the Paul Mitchell Schools’ Be Nice (Or Else!) program, a student-driven initiative promoting kindness that has become a cornerstone of the culture across all Paul Mitchell Schools nationwide.

Shaun played a key role in founding PMTS4Change, an annual event that offers free haircuts, meals, and health services to homeless and underserved individuals. The event continues to serve hundreds of people each year, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.

In 2021, Shaun expanded his professional portfolio by becoming a school partner and salon owner, furthering his influence in the beauty industry while continuing to inspire and mentor the next generation of beauty professionals.
